How does Hoplr differ from a local authority’s social media page?

Hoplr starts with verified neighbourhood networks. Residents find neighbourly help, activities and local information alongside updates from their local authority. Your team gets targeted communication tools in an environment without commercial advertising.

Can we reach specific neighbourhoods or audiences?

Yes. You can target selected neighbourhoods or segments of Hoplr users. Your own email lists also let you reach specific contacts. The available options depend on your plan.

How do city channels work for different departments?

City channels let you create subchannels for departments or organisations within your municipality. Each gets a recognisable sender identity while your team manages communication from one central dashboard. City channels are included in Premium.

Can we publish resident letters and newsletters too?

Yes. Premium lets you create longer articles for digital resident letters and newsletters and use your own email lists or audiences. These editorial messages complement short updates, polls and activities in the neighbourhood network.
