Is Hoplr only available on a smartphone?
No. Residents can use Hoplr through the iOS and Android app and on the web. The app brings neighborhood contact to their smartphone, with notifications to follow what happens next.
How does the app help people meet?
A request for help, a giveaway or an activity gives residents a practical reason to connect. Replies or chat let them make arrangements. A first digital exchange can then lead to meeting in the neighborhood.
Does our local authority have to launch and moderate the network alone?
